Thieves In West Jakarta's Kembangan Boarding House Are Beaten By Masses

JAKARTA - Residents of Kembangan, West Jakarta arrested a man suspected of committing theft at a boarding house, Wednesday afternoon, January 17.

Residents who were furious at the perpetrator's actions did not hesitate to beat the perpetrators. However, to reduce the mass action, residents handed over the perpetrators to the Kembangan Police Headquarters for further processing.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kembangan Police, AKP Ganda Sibarani, confirmed the handover of the perpetrators of the theft that was secured by the residents. Currently, the perpetrator is still being investigated at the Kembangan Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"It's true that we are at the Polsek, while we are still in interrogation first," said AKP Double when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, January 17.

Currently, the police are still looking for victims who have been harmed by the perpetrator's actions. The police have also confiscated a number of duplicate keys belonging to the perpetrator.

"We found the key, but we haven't confirmed which key he is, or how can't be sure, we'll look into it first," he said.

Until this news was written, the case was still being handled by the Kembangan Police. The perpetrator is also still undergoing intensive examination.
