JAKARTA - Three people died as a result of the collision of the local Commuter Line Bandung Raya train with the Turangga train in Cicalengka, Bandung Regency. They are drivers to train drivers.

"Three people died, among others, the driver of the Local KRD train on behalf of Julian Dwi Setiono, Assistant to the Driver of the Local KRD Train on behalf of Ponisan, and Pramugara of the Turangga train on behalf of Andrian," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police Kombes Ibrahim Tompo to VOI, Friday, January 5.

Of the three victims who died, it was said that not all of them could be evacuated. Because, it's still a condition.

"There are still victims who have not been evacuated due to conditions," he said.

Not only the death toll, from the results of the temporary data collection there were 28 other people who were also injured in the accident.

Currently, they have been taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

"It was evacuated to the Cicalengka Hospital," said Tompo.

The train collision accident occurred on Jalan Haurpugur-Cicalengka at around 06.30 WIB, Friday, January 5.

From the video circulating, there was damage from the locomotive/carriage of the train to getting out of the lane. The passengers were also on the edge of the rail that was in the middle of the rice fields.
