Cak Imin Denies Allegations Of Candidate Debate Accompanied By Presidential Candidates Proposed By The AMIN National Team

PADANG - Candidate for vice president number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar denied the accusation that the debate format for the vice president candidate should be accompanied by a presidential candidate is a proposal from the National Team for Winning Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMINAn National Team).

"Nothing. The most important thing now is up to the General Elections Commission. From the start we submitted it to the KPU," said Cak Imin, as Muhaimin Iskandar is called in Padang as reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 4.

This was conveyed by Cak Imin after the vision and mission surgery and the idea test of presidential and vice presidential candidates organized by BEM KM Andalas University, West Sumatra.

Cak Imin, who is also the chairman of the National Awakening Party, said that from the start or since the election organizers involved or invited candidate pairs to discuss the debate format, the AMIN national team has fully followed the mechanisms at the KPU.

"Anyway, whatever the KPU's decision, AMIN will participate," said Cak Imin.

Therefore, he reiterated that the AMIN national team never proposed that the session or format of the vice presidential debate should be accompanied by a presidential candidate.
