JAKARTA - The West Java Provincial Government will complete the payment of incentives for health workers involved in handling COVID-19 in July 2021.
"All hospitals have submitted a disbursement of incentive funds for health workers complete with administrative requirements", said Head of the West Java Health Service, Nina Susana Dewi, in Bandung, as reported by Antara, Thursday, July 22.
She explained that the payment of incentives for health workers who treated COVID-19 sufferers had previously been hampered because not all hospitals had applied for disbursement of funds and there were new provisions and changes in nomenclature.
"The change in regulations resulted in adjustments that took time. So this is just a technical problem so that until mid-July, only 34 percent of the payment had been made", she said.
"Because now we can follow all the changes to the rules, God willing, this July all can be distributed", she said.
The West Java Provincial Government allocated IDR 59.2 billion in the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the 2021 Fiscal Year to provide incentives for health workers involved in handling COVID-19.
