Anies Baswedan Uploads Video Of Ustaz Das'ad Latif Sindir Refusing COVID-19 Vaccine

JAKARTA - The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan uploaded a video of Ustaz Das'ad Latif's lecture which had gone viral on social media. The video clip satirizes people who don't believe in the existence of the covid virus, don't want to be vaccinated, believe in hoaxes.

It seems that Ustaz Das'ad Latif initially told his experience when he met someone who didn't wear a mask because he didn't believe in the existence of covid. "Once I met someone who was not wearing a mask and I asked him, 'Why are you not wearing a mask?", asked Ustaz Das'ad.

Furthermore, Ustaz Das'ad Latif also mentioned people who are reluctant to get vaccinated because they believe that vaccines are not vaccines, will die.

“I went to vaccinate, I took friends. Then he said 'vaccines don't vaccines die'. Then why are you eating? If you eat, you don't eat, you will die. Then why are you eating? Because you want to stay alive”, said Ustaz Das'ad.

Das'ad Latif also admitted that he had carried out the vaccine not only because he wanted to avoid Covid-19 but also wanted to protect others from harm.

"I am not vaccinating because it is just an effort to avoid Corona, but part of my obligation to maintain and protect others", he said.

Anies Baswedan then uploaded the video to answer questions from people who did not want to be vaccinated.

"Do you have parents, relatives, neighbors who are reluctant to be vaccinated? Or maybe you don't want to be vaccinated yourself? Please watch Ustadz @dasadlatif1212's lecture first. Only three minutes", he wrote in the caption column.

Annies Baswedan claimed to have received permission from the Penceraman to upload the video. "Again, thank you to Ustadz Dasad Latif for allowing and sending his lecture material. His ability to explain problems simply should be shared, for the safety of himself and many people", said Anies Baswedan.
