Hengki 'Otak' Extortion Detention Center Targeted By KPK Investigators Regarding Transactions And Distribution Of Allotment Money

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined Hengki who is suspected of being a ‘brain ’ illegal levies at the KPK Detention Center (Rutan) as a witness on Wednesday, March 13. He was questioned for several things, one of which relates to transactions to the distribution of money from detainees. Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Hengki, who is the former Kamtib of the KPK Detention Center, was examined along with six other people. They are Achmad Fauzi, ASN/Head of the KPK Detention Center 2022 – now; Deden Rochendi, PNYD/Assignment of Security for the KPK Detention Center; and Agung Nugroho, PNYD/Staf Branch of the KPK Detention Center. In addition, Ari Rahman Hakim, PNYD/KPK Detention Center Officers were also questioned; Eri Angga Permana, ASN Kemenkumham/Staf KPK Detention Center 2018; Mahdi Aris, KPK Detention Center Security; and Muhammad Abduh, KPK Detention Center Security. "All witnesses were present and confirmed, among other things, the structural connection in the assignment of personnel at the KPK Branch Detention Center," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Thursday, March 14. Hengki and Achmad Fauzi as well as five other witnesses were also questioned by investigators about extortion that led to illegal levies. “ Also about the technical distribution of the amount of money to the parties named as suspects in this case, ” said Ali. Previously reported, the KPK has named more than 10 suspects for extortion in detention centers. One of them, Hengki, who is now serving at the Secretariat of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. He is referred to as the mastermind or mastermind of the extortion practice by the KPK Supervisory Board when reading the ethical decisions of 78 employees.

"Henki is already a suspect," said Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Johanis Tanak to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, March 6.
