Polda Metro Jaya has again received reports of victims of alleged fraud with the mode of entrusted services (jastip) to purchase Coldplay concert tickets with losses of up to Rp200 million.

Director of Special Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Auliansyah Lubis said his party was investigating other reports related to the Coldplay ticket fraud case.

"There is another Police Report (LP). There is another victim. We will investigate later," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 1.

Auliansyah explained that the perpetrator was allegedly different from what was revealed in the previous case in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Friday (19/5).

In this latest case, a woman named Epta Inggie Artha admitted that she suffered a loss of up to Rp 200 million. This case has been reported to Polda Metro Jaya.

In the report, Epta Inggie Artha as the reporter reported the suspect with the initials AAE to Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of fraud. The report is registered with the number LP/B/2862/V/2023 SPKT Polda Metro Jaya.

He reported allegations of fraud in coldplay ticket purchases and Suga BTS personnel with a personal nominal of around Rp. 200 million.

"The money came from many people that I brought," said Epta Inggie Artha according to a written statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday (31/5).

Epta explained that at first she became a victim of fraud by AAE, who was a colleague of a college alma mater and often received concert ticket storage services. On this basis of confidence, he then ordered a ticket to Suga's concert, one of the BTS personnel.

"Starting from Suga's ticket. I was offered to take Suga's ticket, because I already felt that I knew, I immediately ordered 5 tickets from me and my friends. At that time I thought I had to get this ticket, Suga's ticket price was 5 million," he said.

He explained that the perpetrator promised to meet to hand over physical tickets on May 25, 2023 a day before the concert which was held at the BSD Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE).

"Then before the 25th, Coldplay 'war' came out, he immediately told me to offer 'you don't want to. If you want to go after, because I can't get much tough'. He also said 'war' but the code is like a recovery code," he said.

Epta said the perpetrator claimed that the "reveral war" code could enter the system first compared to the general public. He admitted to having intensive conversations as if building trust.

He was not suspicious because the perpetrator did not force him and also did not promise to get a ticket but tried. Then when the "war" was over, the perpetrator contacted him and said he had obtained 24 Coldplay tickets he ordered.

"While calling he said'shoot, I'm really happy, finally the ticket you ordered was a lot too'," he repeated the perpetrator's words.

Epta said that as many as 24 tickets were ordered to a number of people with various professions, ranging from influential figures (influencers), journalists, police, businessmen to former pilots.

For the fraud, Epta reported it to Polda Metro Jaya. "On the 24th, the day before I made an appointment. So the day before meeting he turned off his cellphone," he said.

"I panicked directly to the Regional Police. Because he didn't bring a little money, right and he turned off the'mobile' for 1 24 hours," he said.

He said the report was made as a form of responsibility, in addition to returning half of the ticket money that had been given to him.
