Kulon Progo Tourism Office Targets Revenue During Eid Holiday 2023 Of IDR 1.2 Billion From Eight Tourist Attractions

KULON PROGO- The Tourism Office of Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, targets local revenue from the Lebaran 2023 holiday of Rp1.2 billion from eight tourist objects managed by the local government. Head of the Kulon Progo Tourism Office Joko Mursito in Kulon Progo, Thursday, April 20 said tourist attractions in Kulon Progo were managed by the district government, namely Kiskendo Cave, Sermo Reservoir, Congot Beach, Trisik Beach, Tritis Tea, West Theoreh Tourism and Glagah Beach. "Our target is not only high, only 25 participants of the total PAD target amounting to Rp5 billion. So we targeted Rp1.2 billion during the 2023 Eid holiday," said Joko Mursito, quoted by Antara. He said that with a tourist PAD target of Rp1.2 billion, then around 200 thousand tourists from eight tourist objects managed by the Kulon Progo Regency Government. This Dispar task not only gets PAD, but also how to boost tourist visits in tourist villages managed by the community. "During this Eid holiday, tourist villages such as the Eid holiday are flooded with package bookings," he said. He said that tourism priorities in Kulon Progo currently have 17 tourist destinations prepared in Lebaran 2023, eight of which are tourist destinations managed by the regional government.

Objek wisata yang masih signifikan mendongkrak kunjungan wisatawan adalah Pantai Glagah dan Waduk Sermo. Tingginya tingkat kunjungan wisatawan di Pantai Glagah karena banyak wisatawan yang berkunjung tidak parkir di tempat parkir, tapi di dekat pagar Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta."Kemudian, tingginya kunjungan wisatawan di Waduk Sermo karena di sana terdapat tempat berkemah. Saat ini, jumlah peminat berkemah di sana sudah panjang setelah lebaran," katanya.Selain objek wisata, Joko Mursito mengatakan ada kawasan kuliner yang tingkat kunjungan wisatawan berpotensi sangat tinggi. Tingkat hunian hotel di kawasan Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta juga cukup tinggi.Kemudian, Kulon Progo memiliki desa-desa wisata yang berjumlah 24 lokasi. Saat ini, tren berwisata langsung memesan langsung ke objek wisata untuk mengambil paket menginap bersama masyarakat."Kami berharap libur lebaran ini mampu mendongkrak ekonomi masyarakat dan sektor pariwisata Kulon Progo," katanya.
