JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin asked travelers to pray for themselves and their party to win the 2024 general election (election). "Pray for all the PKB to win the election. Hopefully I will become president, hopefully the PKB 100 DPR. If that happens, the homecoming will use as many trains as possible," said Cak Imin during the release of the Free Homecoming with PKB at the PKB DPP Office, Antara, Tuesday, April 18. According to him, going home is a form of longing and love for his hometown. For that, he reminded travelers to share sustenance in their hometowns. Nevertheless, he appealed to travelers not to bring relatives to Jakarta after Lebaran. "Later, if you come back, don't bring a lot of people because Jakarta is full. Later, if the new capital city at IKN is allowed, we will go there, but the homecoming is difficult. It's the homecoming crossing the sea and the air," he said. Previously, the participants of the PKB DPP Free Homecoming said they were happy with the implementation of the program because it was very helpful so they could return to their hometowns for free or free of charge. "This is the first time I have done homecoming while living in Jakarta. This is also the first time I have participated in a free homecoming," said one of the travelers Lukmi (29) at the PKB Jakarta DPP Office. This private employee who has been visiting Jakarta for 10 years revealed that this is the first time he has returned to Madiun, East Java. The presence of free homecoming, he said, can reduce transportation costs to return to his hometown and can increase the budget for other costs during Eid "I'm happy to be able to go home for free, because last year Corona was also difficult, the point was that last year it was difficult, now it's easier, especially with the free homecoming," he said. Lukmi hopes that this free homecoming activity can be carried out next year. This is to help more people who can feel their return to their hometowns for free.

As for this free homecoming activity, PKB provides 30 buses to carry around 2,000 travelers. They will depart for homecoming to Semarang, Rembang, Klaten, Yogyakarta, Wonogiri, and Surabaya.
