South Sumatra PKB Usung Susno Duadji And Marzuki Alie's Wife Become Legislative
JAKARTA - The PKB Regional Leadership Council of South Sumatra (Sumsel) has promoted active candidates for legislative members (bacapleg) of the mayor, community leaders, and former Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
'The Mayor of Lubuklinggau SN Prana Putra Sohe and the former Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Pol (Ret.) Susno Duadji, were registered with the South Sumatra Provincial KPU as candidates to compete for the seats in the Indonesian House of Representatives in the February 2024 elections," said Chairman of the South Sumatra PKB DPW Ramlan Holdan in Palembang, South Sumatra, Monday, May 15, confiscated by Antara.
He explained that during the registration period for balaleg to the KPU in the last few days which closed on May 14, 2023, his party submitted the documents of 17 legs of the DPR and 75 candidates for the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD to the local KPU.
Ramlan said that the candidate would be expected in the document verification process which began on May 15, 2023, there would be no problem so that it could be determined in the list of interim candidates (DCS) and processed into a list of permanent candidates (DCT) as participants in the 2024 General Election.
According to him, the candidate who is expected to be able to gain as much votes as possible in the 2024 General Election has a new face and incumbent.
There are quite a lot of new faces for the DPR candidate for the South Sumatra electoral district from PKB, apart from the Mayor of Lubuklinggau, SN Prana Putra Sohe, Susno Duadji, there is also a former member of the DPD RI Asmawati who is Marzuki Alie's wife.
Meanwhile, incumbent, from the current eight seats in the South Sumatra DPRD, there are two people who have competed for the seats of the DPR RI, namely Antoni Yuzar and Kartak SAS.
"For the incumbent of the eight members of our council, six of them nominated again, while two people nominated for the DPR RI in the South Sumatra 1 electoral district," said Ramlan.

Ramlan said, to realize the target of winning the legislative member election which coincided with the presidential/wapres election in February 2024, his party relied on the existing party machines, the work of legislative candidates and PKB cadres spread across 17 districts/cities.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the South Sumatra KPU, Amrah Muslimin, explained that his party had accepted the proposal for a candidate for legislative member of 18 political parties and 20 candidates for the South Sumatra DPD for the 2024 General Election.
Anrah said that all prospective candidates are currently being verified and immediately announced to the public so that when determined in DCT there will be no problems.
