For The Use Of Sustainable Materials, Michelin Will Develop Tires For Electric Vehicles
JAKARTA - In the context of using environmentally friendly materials, a French tire manufacturer, Michelin, is committed to developing and producing tires for electric vehicles.
This aims to make manufacturers produce tires with sustainable use of materials of up to 100 percent by 2050.
Moreover, the use of tires that use sustainable materials is in line with the government's program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 29 percent by 2030 until it reaches zero emissions by 2060 in the country.
Sai Banu Ramani, as President Director of Michelin Indonesia, said that his party is committed to developing and minimizing tire material that can have an impact on the environment, ranging from design, production, use to recycling.

In order for this program to run, Michelin implemented continuous innovation and technology for electric vehicle tires to accommodate four essential quality tires devoted to EVs, including the tire usage period, larger weights, scroll barriers, and low noise.
Meskipun demikian, Michelin juga berpesan agar pemilik mobil listrik tetap merawat dan menjaga ban secara konsisten sehingga usia ban bisa lebih panjang.
