PUPR: Infrastructure Damage In West Aceh Due To Flood Capai Of IDR 35 Billion
MEULABOH - The Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of West Aceh Regency recorded losses due to natural disasters of floods and landslides that occurred in the area, reaching more than Rp35 billion.
"From the temporary calculations we have carried out, infrastructure damage due to natural disasters in West Aceh has reached Rp35 billion," said Head of the West Aceh Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR), DR Kurdi in Meulaboh, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 8.
As for the damage, said Kurdi, Jalan Sarah Peureulak- Kajeung, precisely in Geudong, the road subsides by approximately 100 meters, an estimated handling of approximately IDR 450 million including talud.
The plan for this emergency handling, he said, will be carried out to make the floor of the fault area and add a pile so that it can be passed.
"Our team is going to the location," said Kurdish.
Another damage is the Kajeung Tungkop Suspension Bridge with a length of 120 meters while it cannot be passed, and needs severe rehabilitation. Estimates a temporary loss of Rp. 400 million.
For emergency handling of the damage to the Kajeung-Tungkop bridge, he said, it would be carried out for emergency handling in the form of repairing the floor and the bottom of the bridge so that it could be passed again.
The landslide of the road, he said, also occurred on the Pasie janeng - Paya Baro district road, precisely Gampong Baro Village, along 200 meters long, and the plan was to transfer the route with a budget requirement of Rp600 million.
As for the cliffs, the damage to Krueng Woyla's erosion under the hall, requires a budget of IDR 7-10 billion, and emergency handling is opened for a temporary new route so that access roads can be passed.

Then in Pasie Sira, Pante Ceurmen District, West Aceh Regency also caused very severe erosion with a erosion length of more than 250 meters. This damage, he said, had also been surveyed by the Aceh Disaster Management Agency (BPBA), BPBD and PUPR Aceh, and proposed to BNPB in the amount of Rp. 15 billion.

Then the third one, most recently at the Lancong intersection, experienced landslides on the road, and with an estimated cost requirement needed for handling it amounted to Rp6 billion.
"We hope that this damage can be fully handled by the central government through APBN funds and the Aceh Government through the APBA," Kurdish hoped.
