Google Contacts Can Now Set Notifications From Important Dates

JAKARTA Google Contact has had many improvements since the beginning of this year. After having a birthday reminder and reminder feature, Google has now added a notification.

Initially, Google Contact allowed users to add an important date in the contacts they wanted. The hope is that users will not forget important celebrations with loved ones.

The option of adding an annual birthday is even differentiable. However, Google does not add a notification option because each date entered will be integrated into Google Calendar.

However, for what reason, Google also added a notification feature in Google Contacts. Now, every date included in the contact can provide a notification that makes you more aware of the warning.

In order for notification from the warning to appear, open the contact and select an additional menu to search for the "Reminders" option. When the menu is tapped, all important dates of the contact will be visible.

Each of these important dates can be edited to enable notifications. Users will be given a reminder option on the previous 2 days, 7 days earlier, and 2 weeks earlier.

Keep in mind that Google Contacts are integrated into Google Calendar. All these activated notifications will also be added to the app. Surprisingly, users will get a double warning.

This means that users will see two notifications from different apps for just one event. This double notification may be a problem for some users.

However, if you feel that this upgrade in Google Contact is really needed, you still have to be patient because the addition of this notification feature is still being carried out in stages in version 4.20 specifically for Android.
