JAKARTA - The studio for the development of video games Naughty Dog announced that its Head of Technology Christian Gyrling decided to leave the company after a 17-year career.

"Our Head of Technology, Christian Gyrling has decided to leave Naughty Dog after a remarkable 17-year career in our studio," the company wrote in its announcement on X, quoted Monday, November 13.

Christian's decision to leave the company was somewhat unexpected considering he had just served as head of technology four months ago.

Naughty Dog did not reveal in detail the reason why Gyrling left the company. However, that position will be replaced by Travis Mcintosh, who has been in the company for 19 years.

We are grateful for his many contributions to our studios, games, and team-mates. Travis Mcintosh, a 19-year-old veteran at Naughty Dog, will replace Christian as Head of Technology, "concluded the company.

Earlier this year, reported GamingBolt, president of Naughty Dog Evan Wells, announcing his departure from the studio, with Neil Druckmann taking full lead when he was not around.

Developers have also experienced several major obstacles in recent months. Last month, there were also reports that the company had phk on its employees.

The latest report in May also claims that the self-standing multiplayer project The Last of Us from Naughty Dog has been 'frozen'. However, game director Vinit Agarwal has since confirmed that the game is still under development.
