JAKARTA - Meta is rumored to have released two new features for WhatsApp beta users on Android with the latest version, namely version 2.23.18.21, which is now available on the Google Play Store.

Based on WABetainfo's findings, this feature is called a multi-account feature. This means that WhatsApp allows you to add other accounts on the same device directly from WhatsApp Settings.

If you look at it, this feature is similar to what you usually find on social media such as X, Facebook, and Instagram. Where, you can log in with other accounts in one application.

It was also noted that conversations and notifications between accounts would be separate. So, you no longer need to download ordinary WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business or use more than one phone if you want to have two accounts with different numbers at once.

With this new interface, WhatsApp allows users to manage their conversations from multiple accounts with one app.

However, it should be noted that users may only be able to add one additional account to their application. However, there is a possibility that WhatsApp can increase this bound on the next update.

Although it has just been launched for certain beta users, and has not yet been widely launched. We can hope for the launch of this feature in the future.

Along with the launch of the multi-account feature, WhatsApp also released a redesigned regulatory interface, which provides users with a more modern experience.

WABtainfo noted that this update also includes a profile tab that is redesigned right in the chat list, making it easier for users to open app settings.
