JAKARTA - On August 24, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) introduced its new handheld device, known as the PlayStation Portal.

In its latest announcement, Senior Vice President, Experienced Platform, SIE Hideaki Nishino said that the PlayStation Portal will be launched in certain markets on November 15, 2023.

Meanwhile, pre-orders can now be done for players in the US, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal via direct.playstation.com.

"Starting September 29, 2023, PlayStation Portal long-range players can also be ordered in advance from certain retailers in these countries, as well as Canada and Japan," added Nishino.

Not yet known when this device will be available globally, Nishino also mentioned that the launch of the PlayStation Portal for other regions will be announced in the near future.
