JAKARTA - Based on the latest quarterly report, Meta revealed that although it was not as popular as it used to be, Facebook managed to surpass 3 billion monthly active users.

This number can be said to be quite fun for the company, because Facebook can still survive in the midst of the onslaught of new applications like Mastodon, even Threads.

The report found by TechCrunch also states that Facebook currently has 2.064 billion daily active users. That number is up from 2.037 billion in the last quarter.

According to the company, the growth in the number of users can partly be said to be due to a boost from Reels, the TikTok imitator feature, which is strongly driven by Meta on Instagram and Facebook.

According to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Reels itself even gets more than 200 billion viewers per day across Meta's family of apps.

"I think we have the most exciting roadmap ahead of me ever seen in a few moments. We see unprecedented growth from the gates, and more importantly, we see more people coming back every day than I expected," Zuck said in the report.

On the other hand, Threads even managed to hit 100 million users within five days of its release. But last week, Zuckerberg posted that 10 million people come back every day, which is quite impressive.
