JAKARTA - Not even one year out yet, Bandai Namco announced that the Gundam Evolution game service will be discontinued on November 29.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the end of Gundam Evolution. This game service will end on November 29, 2023," said Gundam Evolution Executive Producer Kazuya Maruyama in an announcement on its official website.

Initially, this game was created because they wanted to create a title that brought together FPS fans and Gundam fans. But unfortunately, the studio feels no longer able to satisfy the players.

"We would like to thank everyone who has played this game and supported us to this day. At the same time, we would like to sincerely apologize to our fans and players," he added.

Although Gundam Evolution is coming to an end, the update will continue to roll out with the launch of Season 6 on August 23 and the final season (Musim 7) on October 25, adding new units and two new maps.

"We will do our best to ensure that our players can enjoy Gundam Evolution completely until the end," said Maruyama.

Bandai Namco will also discuss more details during the Mission Steering Final, which is scheduled for streaming on Friday, July 21.

Bandai Namco also noted that starting July 26, the brand will end the sale of EVO Coins, end the sale of the Pod Limited EC, and also end the update for Pod EC, Pod CAP, and Pod Tickets.

On November 29, after the service ended, the game would no longer be playing and all items, including the EVO Coin, could no longer be used.
