JAKARTA - Some time ago Apple officially released a new software update for the iPhone 8 and later, known as iOS 16.5.

According to shared records, the update has some bug fixes and additional features like the special Sports tab on Apple News, and many more.

"Updating your software is one of the most important things you can do to keep your Apple product safe. This update includes upgrades, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone," the tech giant wrote.

In terms of bug fixes, Apple has fixed Spotlight's problem, which makes the entire Apple search system non-responsive and also Podcasts on CarPlay unable to be loaded.

After that tap Software Update and you will see an option to Download and Install iOS 16.5 on your iPhone 8 or later device.

The release comes just weeks before the company will host the Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) on June 5-9 in California.
