JAKARTA The French-centric video game company, Ubisoft, recently announced significant steps in the Web3 industry. Ubisoft, who is the world's leading game publisher such as Assassins Creed, Just Dance, and Far Cry, plans to issue NFT (Non-Fungible Token) digital art.

Ubisoft, as if he didn't want to be left behind with other world's top companies in entering the NFT space. The game company is working with Integral Reality Labs in creating the Assassin's Creed NFT collection.

The digital art collection, known as Assassin's Creed Smart Collectibles, is an NFT access card printed on the Polygon network. Not only that, the NFT collection has a physical partner in the form of certain items inspired by the original game.

That way, collection owners can exchange 'Digital Soul' NFTs for physical collectibles printed using 3D printed art. The collectibles consist of a number of diverse heroes in the Assassin's Creed game series.

What makes this collection unique is that owners can choose other items including skins, weapons, and costumes as well as pose heroes according to taste. This customization is adjusted to the scarcity level of the NFT collection.

Based on Coinspeaker's statement, another interesting aspect is that each collectible is equipped with an embedded close-range communication chip (NFC). The NFC allows its owners to view digital versions of their characters through compatible applications on their smartphones.

Even though it was, Ubisoft did not explain in detail the official price of his NFT collection. The game publisher only announced that the Pre-sale would start on May 16.
