OpenAI Releases GPT-4 AI Technology Capable Of Generating Text And Image-Based Content

JAKARTA - Startup OpenAI on Tuesday, March 14 announced it would release a powerful artificial intelligence model called GPT-4, which could trigger human-like technology and increase competition between its backers Microsoft Corp and Alphabet Inc's Google.

OpenAI, which created the chatbot sensation ChatGPT, said in a blog post that its newest technology is "multimodal", meaning that images, as well as text, can trigger it to generate content.

The text input feature will be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and software developers, on a waiting list, while the image input capability is still a research preview.

OpenAI has announced the release of its latest artificial intelligence model, GPT-4, which is claimed to have superior capabilities compared to its predecessors. In an online demonstration by OpenAI President Greg Brockman, GPT-4 was able to create a website based on a simple hand-drawn image. Apart from that, GPT-4 can also help individuals in calculating their taxes.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman called GPT-4 the best model in line with human values ​​and intentions, even though it "still has flaws". According to the company, GPT-4 has a lower error rate, which is 82% less than its predecessor and has a higher factuality score of 40%.
