Electric Vehicles Become An Attention At The IIMS 2023 Event

JAKARTA - The 2023 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) has entered its seventh day. On Wednesday, February 22 yesterday, the enthusiasm of the visitors increased.

The organizing committee noted that there had been an increase in the number of visitors in the first week of IIMS by 24 percent from the number of visitors in 2022 at the same time.

Various kinds of vehicle brands can be found at IIMS 2023. Starting from conventional vehicles, and electric vehicles, to modifications. Of the three categories, electric vehicles are a magnet at IIMS 2023.

Not without reason, IIMS this year really wants to support the acceleration of electrification in Indonesia, in order to achieve Net Zero Emissions that the government is planning.

In addition to hundreds of products from exhibitors that were able to attract the enthusiasm of visitors, IIMS 2023 was also enlivened by a variety of interesting and educational talk shows about the automotive world.

"The presence of automotive figures at the IIMS exhibition is a special momentum for the automotive ecosystem, including presenting historical actors in the motorsport event with their achievements to be shared with visitors to IIMS Boost 2023. And at the same time it is an inspiration for other racers," said Rudi MF, IIMS Boost 2023 Project Manager, in his statement quoted by VOI Thursday, February 23.

IIMS 2023 event which is a special attraction for increasing tourism, especially DKI Jakarta. The existing line of vehicles attracts interest and attention, especially in reviewing the readiness of the maritime tourism industry in the country, which in this case is represented by the presence of the Indonesia Boating Gathering (IBG), which is a collaboration of the non-profit Community for Maritime Studies Indonesia (CMSI) foundation with Dyandra Promosindo in IIMS 2023 to revive the marine tourism industry.

Entrance ticket prices are IDR 50,000 per person for Monday-Thursday. As for weekends, namely Friday-Sunday, IDR 85,000 per person.
