JAKARTA - As well as sharing a future roadmap for its email service, Proton, a technology company from Switzerland that offers online services focused on privacy, will also update its Proton Calendar service.

Throughout this year, Proton has released various interesting features such as a complete redesign of iOS and Android applications, implementing 2FA security for Proton accounts, and so on.

In the next few weeks, Proton will be launching Proton Calendar for iPhone users, allowing you to manage your schedule on the go while keeping it private.

"Once we pass this major milestone, we plan to work on the following improvements," Mathew Stastny, director of product management at Proton, wrote on his blog.

Some of the improvements that will be added to Proton Calendar are as follows:

Tasks and Task Lists

With this feature, Proton seeks to give you the ability to create to-do lists and turn tasks into reminders.

Better sharing

With the improved sharing features, you'll be able to share your calendar with other Proton users, as well as let them see your free schedule.

Better convenience

Next, Proton will release a full agenda view showing your events for the day as an infinitely scrolling chronological list.

On the mobile app, users will be able to switch between multiple views, including a 3-day or 7-day view, and see your schedule in landscape mode.

"We will also improve the home screen widget on the mobile app to display agenda and month views," the company added.

Finally, Proton will work to allow you to view local holidays, birthdays of friends in your contacts, as well as the weather forecast for where you are.
