JAKARTA - The use of digital applications continues to be introduced to facilitate government services. The Social Service (Dinsos) of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province provides the Mulya Gate Mobile application service. This is an information technology-based community service to facilitate social handling.

Head of the Social Service of Bangka Regency, Bahrudin Bafa, in Sungailiat, Saturday, October 1, said the Gerbang Mulya Mobile application was an integrated social service system with a number of agencies, such as the Education Office, the Bangka Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning (DP2KBP3A) and other agencies related to social issues.

"This system is expected to be able to quickly and easily handle holistic social problems so as to create a prosperous society," Bahrudin said, as quoted by Antara.

He explained that in the application completely and accurately there is data on the need for Social Welfare Services (PPKS) which includes individuals, families, groups, and or communities who because of an obstacle, difficulty, or disturbance, cannot carry out their social functions, thus requiring social services to meet the needs of life, both physically and spiritually.

He explained that the Gate Mulya Mobole application was a system innovation that was able to improve the quality of recording and reporting, as well as increasing the coverage of PPKS who received social services.

The Gate Mulya Mobile application, according to him, will be able to find, record, and record the whereabouts of people who receive social services.

"The advantage of this application system is that this innovation can help social services with a PPKS case tracking system, recording and reporting as well as case follow-up so that PPKS can be served by tracing and family reunification," he said.

Access to the Mulya Gate application service is facilitated by social workers by involving all components of the community around PPKS and each element involved in accordance with their respective authorities.
