JAKARTA - Playing online games is great fun to have a multiplayer experience and to make friends.

But, you will not always get good friends, sometimes you will find friends who often say bad words to other players.

It must be very uncomfortable for you. But luckily, you can easily block and/or report the player on the Xbox One and Xbox apps.

How to Block or Report a User on Xbox One

1. Press Home to bring up the sidebar.
2. Navigate to Parties & Chats, then Chats. From there, select the chat with the user you want to report.
3. Press More, then View Profile.
4. Navigate to Report or Block and press to reveal several options, then tap Report or Block depending on what you want to do.
5. If you press Report, a list of predefined options will appear. Select the option most relevant to the reason you are reporting the player.

How to Block or Report a User on the Xbox App

1. Once you're signed in to the Xbox app, tap the Social tab and then tap Chats.
2. Tap Chat with the user you want to block or report.
3. Tap the username at the top to be taken to their profile.
4. Tap the ellipsis icon, then tap Report, Block, or both, depending on what you prefer.
5. If you tap Report, you will have to choose from a list of predefined options for the reason you want to report the user.

If you've done the steps above, you can now play games on Xbox comfortably and the user won't be able to bother you again using the account you've blocked.
