JAKARTA - Google Docs gets a new feature that will simplify the process of formatting your document text.

Through his blog quoted Thursday, May 26, Google says that you can now make multiple text selections at once, and apply actions such as delete, copy, paste, or format to all of the selections.

Previously Google could only block one sentence, you couldn't select more than one separate text to edit, now you don't have to worry about that anymore.

Now, if you have two separate sentences and want to apply the same effect to three different words across a paragraph, you can now do that by simply selecting the text at once, and applying your changes.

Selecting multiple sections of text is very simple, namely:

- Select the first bit of text as usual.

- Then press the Command (⌘) or Control key, depending on whether you are using a Mac or Windows machine.

- Hold down, and select another piece of text you want.

- Once everything is selected, you can release it, and change any formatting bits you want using the toolbar.

This new feature is simple, but will make formatting and editing documents faster by eliminating the need to make repeated changes, increasing your overall productivity.
