JAKARTA - Netflix has finally added the long-awaited option for users to manually remove shows and movies from the Continue Watching line.

This means that users can now get rid of movies they haven't fully watched or TV shows that they've never finished. This feature is claimed to haunt the Netflix user interface.

When using Netflix, users usually feel confused about what they are going to watch because there are so many choices.

Users usually tend to skip before finally selecting a TV show or movie according to their interests. However, movies or shows that are allowed to appear in the search list or in the Continue Watching list are very annoying for some users.

Hence, Netflix took steps to remove it. This new feature is already available on the Netflix web, mobile, and TV apps.

Launching The Verge, Thursday, February 3, to delete a show or movie, users must select the movie in the row and scroll down to the "Remove from Continue Watching" option.

But users can also undelete by clicking a second time, this is useful if the user accidentally deletes a movie that they really want to watch someday.

While the update isn't the most important change to Netflix's UI, the Continue Watching line does hold an important place in streaming site design.

Because the Continue Watching line is one of the first things users will see when they open Netflix on their phone or TV. So giving everyone a little more control and curation over what actually appears on that line is a welcome addition.
