Wuling Will Launch A New Electric Car, How About EV?

JAKARTA - Wuling Motors is rumored to be adding more electric cars to the Indonesian market, namely the Binggo EV which was introduced at the 2023 Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) exhibition last July.

The news of the presence of this new car from Wuling refers to the website of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, regarding information on the Selling Value of Motor Vehicles (NJKB), it can be seen that Wuling has registered a vehicle with the code E206REV with many types.

For the code E itself, it seems that it is a code for Wuling's electric car as E230 has been used by Air EV in data on the same DKI Jakarta NJKB website.

The data also reveals the figures 30KW and 50KW which may indicate the output of their electric motorbikes. In addition, there are also 203, 333 and 410 codes that are similar to the specifications of the travel distance.

As is known, Wuling itself has launched a Mariak with a distance of 410 km, and other variants with a distance of 203 km and 333 km.

Speaking of price, for the local market (China) this car is sold starting from Rp126 million for the lowest variant, and also Rp178 million for a distance of 333 km.

Responding to the data above, VOI.ID tried to contact Dian Asmahani, SGMW Motor Indonesia Brand & Marketing Director. However, until this news was published there had been no official response from Wuling.

Is Binggo the next model to be present in Indonesia from the Wuling brand? Of course it's worth waiting for.
