JAKARTA - In order to welcome the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 event which will take place in Indonesia, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) handed over 148 units of its vehicles as well as playing the Sustainability Mobile Partner in the tournament.

The local distributor of Hyundai vehicles handed over various models consisting of Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Creta, Stargazer, and Palisade as vehicles for executives and official administrators of the world football agency, FIFA, at the Jakarta International Stadium.

"We handed over 148 official cars, consisting of Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Stargazer, Creta, and Palisade, for purposes during the FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023," said Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, PT HMID's Chief Operating Officer, in his remarks at the Jakarta International Stadium, Tuesday, November 7.

In addition to providing vehicles for FIFA executives during the event, HMID also held a series of events titled "Emppowering #ChampsofNoomorrow". During the event, people can experience Hyundai vehicles directly by conducting test drives from 19 October to 23 November 2023 which took place throughout the dealers network and Hyundai Driving Experience SCBD and Hyundai Motorstudio Senayan Park.

In order to enliven this annual football event, HMID presented Brand Experience Space at four stadiums in each host city. Visitors can experience interesting activities in the area with the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature produced from Hyundai Ioniq 5.
