Joyland Festival Jakarta 2023 Announces 2nd Line Up Phase, Fleet Foxes Performs First Time In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Welcoming the enthusiasm of Indonesian music lovers, the 2023 Joyland Festival Jakarta announced the 2nd phase line-up by presenting various music groups and musicians abroad and domestically.

Plainsong Live as the promoter announced the joining of Fleet Foxes, Mew, Kamaal Williams, Squid, Ali, Totalsuke, White Chorus to White Shoes & the Couples Company with the previous performers announced earlier.

Ferry Dermawan as Program Director of Joyland Festival stated that Fleet Foxes is indeed a priority for the Joyland Festival to be presented.

Fleet Foxes are always on our top target every time we design a line-up. So, I'm excited, because this will be their first appearance in Indonesia. Especially because it is the only one in the Asian region," said Ferry Dermawan, in an official statement received by VOI on Thursday, September 7.

Meanwhile, Fleet Foxes is a folk revivalist group from the United States. Led by singer and songwriter Robin Pecknold, Fleet Foxes has attracted attention since it first appeared in 2006.

Fleet Foxes is considered successful in making a mix of beautiful songs, high musicality and charming vocal harmonization.

In addition, the legendary alternative rock band from Denmark, New will also return to greet his fans in Indonesia.

The return of the trio of Jonas Bjerre, Johan Wohlert, and Silas Ute Graae J00grensen is expected to receive a warm welcome from new and old Mew fans.
