Andreas Kisser Says About Reunion With The Cavalera Brothers: What For? Ruining The Party?

JAKARTA - Long wait for metal fans to reunite with Sepultura's original line-up is likely to end in vain. In fact, celebrating the four decades old of the Brazilian band is also very unlikely.

The news appeared in an interview between the Sonoros Podcast and Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser, recently.

When asked what Sepultura plans to do at the end of September to celebrate after four decades and whether the Cavalera Brothers will be involved, Kisser quickly rejected it.

"No! What for, man? To break up the party?" said Kisser.

The Cavalera Brothers left Sepultura for a long time, where Max left in 1996 and Igor went to join his brother in 2006.

Since then they have been around playing Sepultura's old songs.

Meanwhile, regarding the new music, the guitarist said Sepultura was not ready enough to write and record a new album. The reason is, they feel they have not been able to promote the Quadra album (2020) well.

"New albums, impossible now. Pandemics are spreading, so Quadra is still very new. So we have a lot to do with this album. We want to celebrate 40 years next year. We want to have a special tour. So, new albums are 'tai'," said Kisser.
