JAKARTA - Throughout 2024, the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of the Republic of Indonesia revealed 618 drug cases and two cases of clinical laboratory narcotics.

"BNN confiscated narcotics evidence, including 710,980.59 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 2,178,034.61 grams of marijuana, 1,077.69 grams of synthetic marijuana, 290,737.23 pills and 138,404.29 grams of ecstasy, 2,760 grams of heroin, 4,335.34 grams of cocaine, 971,000 grains and 2,800 grams of PCC, and 1,300 ml of narcotics precursor liquid," Komjen Martinus told reporters, Monday, December 23.

Meanwhile, 363 other people were on the wanted list (DPO) related to narcotics cases in 2024. BNN has only arrested 26 suspects out of the 363 DPOs.

"Meanwhile, 337 other people are still in the process of being searched and chased," he said.

Of these, BNN said there were 27 narcotics syndicates, consisting of 14 international network syndicates and 13 national networks.
