JAKARTA - BP Tapera reported significant achievements in the realization of Home Ownership Loans (KPR) subsidies for Housing Financing Liquidity Facilities (FLPP).

BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho said, since its launch from 2010 to December 20, 2024, this program has realized 1.59 million housing units for Low-Income Communities (MBR), with a value of IDR 151.22 trillion.

"For 15 years, the KPR subsidy of FLPP has achieved the realization of KPR of 1.59 million housing units for MBR worth Rp. 151.22 trillion, with a total managed fund currently managed by BP Tapera of Rp. 116.27 trillion," said Heru in the agenda of signing the 2025 FLPP and Tapera Financing Cooperation Agreement between BP Tapera and the Distribution Bank and the Joint Commitment to the Success of the 3 Million House Program at the Public Works Ministry Auditorium, Jakarta, Monday, December 23.

Heru explained that the performance of the distribution of FLPP managed to exceed the target this year. From the initial target of 166,000 housing units, BP Tapera managed to distribute up to 200,300 housing units, or equivalent to 100.15 percent realization. The total distribution value reached Rp24.57 trillion.

As for 2022, BP Tapera has been appointed by the government as the government's investment operator with the main task of distributing subsidized mortgages through cooperation with banks. In the period 2022 to 20 December 2024, the total FLPP funds disbursed reached Rp76.04 trillion for 655,300 MBR housing units.

Heru said this achievement could not be separated from the various innovations made by BP Tapera.

"We continue to be committed to improving the financing scheme, not only in terms of demand but also in terms of supply, while still paying attention to the principles of good corporate governance," he said.

He said, with the strong support of the government and all stakeholders, his party was confident that it could continue to provide housing financing solutions on target for MBR.

For next year, BP Tapera has prepared an allocation of IDR 28.2 trillion which is targeted to be distributed for 220,000 housing units. Through continued collaboration and innovation, this public housing program is expected to be able to further reach the wider community and support the achievement of the national target program of 3 million houses.

"According to the encouragement of the Minister (Maruarar Sirait) with the support of the Ministry of Finance, we can convey that in early January 2025, banks will be able to carry out the FLPP KPR contract. For this reason, we ask for the readiness of stakeholders, especially to banks and developers to ensure that the house is in a ready stock status," he concluded.
