Indies Says Life Will End Will Not Play First Album

JAKARTA - Baskara Putra or known as the Indian stage name said his second album "Besides Life Will End" will not be able to beat the achievement of the first album Dancing with Shadow.

The achievement he meant was in terms of the number of song playback on digital music platforms.

"It can't be defeated by the first album, I'm talking about it in the context of numbers and how many hear it, in one album there are only three songs that have gone through 100 million (times heard)," he said at a private showcase in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/8) night, quoted by Antara.

The Indies said some of the songs from its first albums such as "Evaluation" and "sufficient", have even been heard 700 million times across digital music platforms, without marketing assistance.

According to the musician who will soon hold a four-city tour, it is quite difficult to achieve this extraordinary success again.

"I felt that from the start I made the second album long ago, it couldn't be like the first album, the situation was mentally and creatively not there, so the results that came out were different," he added.

Even so, the 'Cincin' singer admitted that he did not care about these achievements. For him, each album already has its own sustenance.

In addition, the extraordinary achievement in the first album actually made him feel more relaxed and free to create his next works.

"At the moment I saw that the number of the first album could not be defeated, I felt free to do anything, so this second album became 28 songs, I could do what I wanted to do," he said.

Previously, in early July, the East Indies released its latest album, which contained an abundance of songs, reaching almost 30 songs.

At that time he also expressed his happiness when he was able to release so many songs freely without a management ban, an unlimited creative process.

"Next time and I'm sure it won't happen again to be able to compose this many songs and it was approved by management," said the Indies at the time.
