Audi Q9 Will Be Introduced At The End Of Next Year, Take A Peek At The Leaks

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from Germany, Audi is known to be testing a large SUV called Q9 that will match models such as BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Autocar reported, Saturday, March 22, the model will be present in the configuration of three rows of seven passengers. Not only that, the SUV will also be offered in a six-seater layout or the same as offered on Bentley Bentayga.

The car will potentially be built on the advanced version of the latest Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) developed by the Volkswagen Group.

With this architecture, Audi Q9 will have a longitudinally installed propulsion system with a 2.0 liter-4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine configuration to a more wild V8.

Most likely, the V8 engine will be present in the SQ9 Sport variant or the highest type of the Q9 family. Later, this latest full-size SUV will carry a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system that can run on pure electricity like an EV with a certain range.

Speaking of design, it is estimated that Audi Q9 will have a thinner DRL LED light and a honeycomb pattern front jar like the latest Audi A6 launched recently.

Positioned as flagship and of great dimension, the car will be present in key markets such as the United States (US), China, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). However, it is possible that the SUV will be present in other markets, such as the UK.

According to reports, Audi Q9 will be revealed for the first time at the end of next year and will arrive at the UK market in early 2027 with an estimated price of around 100,000 or equivalent to IDR 2.131 billion.

Thus, the presence of the car will find certainty after experiencing several delays. The manufacturer with the logo four rings' several times hinted at the existence of Q9 at the launch of Q8 in 2018 and the car was first seen being tested in 2021.
