Not Yet Debuted, Jeep Recon EV Caught On Camera In A Strong Form

JAKARTA - Jeep is one of the many automotive brands planning to expand its EV line globally. After launching Avengers and Wagoneer S in its zero-emission vehicle line, the manufacturer under Stellantis umbrella intends to present a Recon in the form of pure electricity.

The disitat of the Electrek page, Monday, December 30, the Recon EV caught on camera charging. It is possible that the model being tested is an approximate version of production due to the lack of camouflage stickers.

The latest image from the Instagram account @kindelato, shows the EV Recon in the form of production that is being charged in EVgo stations.

Seen from behind, this car has a nearly like Ford Bronco look with the last pillar looking sturdy and braining as well as reflecting the identity of Jeep.

Previously, this car also showed the front with a box-pattered LED light covered with camouflage. The side design also looks sturdy but looks suitable as a vehicle in urban areas.

Previously, this automotive brand from the United States (US) also indicated that the SUV would be inspired by the iconic Wrangler model by highlighting off-road elements, one of which has a removable door and window option.

Not only the appearance of the outside, the interior also looks sturdy with the dashboard and the steering wheel stiffer with the Selec-Terrain system which is the hallmark of Jeep.

In the photo, the cabin is decorated with options for Rock and Lumpur' modes on the interface trajectory system. Meanwhile, there is a possibility that other options such as Snow, Sport, and Tow will also be presented.

Just like Wagoneer S, Jeep Recon EV is based on the STLA Large platform with fully independent suspension tuning.

The five-door-style SUV will be produced at Toluka Car Assembly, Mexico, which is expected to debut in the United States (US) market in early 2025 at prices ranging from around US$60,000 (Rp969.8 million).
