The Latest Generation Of Porsche Panamera Comes With A Refreshment Of Style And Improvement Of Performance

JAKARTA - Recently, Porsche officially launched the latest Panamera. This is a third-generation model that is presented with several changes, including new styles, increased in terms of driving, and more powerful machines.

Reporting from Motor1, Friday, November 24, one of the changes includes the exterior. Although it has a design similar to the previous generation, there are several things that have been changed. This car is now equipped with additional air entry channels above the front number plate, which is needed to cool the powertrain.

The lighting section is equipped with an LED Matrix headlights as a standard feature. The windows that are redesigned on the side display further strengthen the sedan character on the four-door sports car. Offering maximum relief, Panamera has a length dimension of 5,052 mm, a width of 1,937 mm, and a height of 1,423 mm.

The new pandemic has arrived with an air suspension from the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as a standard equipment. Two-valve technology separates the rebound and compression stages from the damping control and therefore offers a wider range between comfort and the impression of sporty.

Switching to the interior, conventional pressneling levers in the center console have been removed, creating more dynamic space. These touchscreens are capable of regulating various functions, including temperature settings and electrically adjustable air ventilation, just like Cayenne.

In addition, there is a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster screen, which is combined with a 12.3-inch center touch screen. There is also a passenger touch screen of 10.9 inches, which is coated with a special film so as not to disturb the driver.

A series of driving modes can also be selected, including Normal, Sport and Sport Plus and support control can also be accessed directly by the driver. This means that drivers do not need to take their eyes off the road to adjust driving programs and assistance systems.

The third generation of Panamera is one of the electrification products presented by Porsche. Available in four different powertrains, including the highest type of Turbo E-Hybrid. The highest variant has a 4.0 liter V8 engine turbo combined with an electric motor that pumps 680 ps of power and 930 Nm of torque.

Integrated with the dual-clutch eight-speed PDK transmission system, this car is capable of running from 0 to 100 km/h within 3.2 seconds by producing the highest speed of up to 315 km/hour.

Carrying plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology, this car is embedded with a battery with a capacity of 25.9 kWh which makes the car go up to a range of 91 km on pure electric power and is compatible with 11 kW of AC charging, so it can charge up to 2 hours 39 minutes of battery.

With the amazing luxury and performance, the latest generation Porsche Panamera is priced at 107,800 euros or equivalent to Rp1.8 billion and the highest variant reaches 192,500 euros or equivalent to Rp3.2 billion for the Panamera Turbo E-hybrid for the German market. This car will be delivered to the European market starting March 2024.
