Volkswagen Presents More Sporty Golf Black Edition For The British Market

JAKARTA - German automotive company Volkswagen has officially released a special edition of the hot hatch Golf Black Edition model for the British market.

Golf Black Edition is positioned among R-Line and GTE types with exclusive and interesting updates, including new features and body different from other variants.

Reporting from Motor1, Thursday, September 7, the VW Golf Black Edition was presented with an alloy 18-inch black rim with five bars, which of course were not available at any type of golf.

Another interesting thing about VW Golf Black Edition has a rear camera with an LED Plus headlights. Not only that, the rear glass is blackened.

Golf Black Edition also comes with an optional package, in the form of a heating front seat and a heating steering wheel, which is worth using when entering winter in England.

The special edition hot hatch model is available in three engine options, each representing performance and efficiency. The first option is a 1.5 liter pure gasoline TSI with six manual accelerations of 148 dk.

Then second, the 1.5 liter TSI gasoline engine with mild-hybrid technology has the same energy, namely 148 dk. However, the performance of the runway was married to a transmission of seven automatic accelerations.

VW also provides a larger engine with 2.0 liters of TSI which produces up to 187 dk of power with a more sophisticated driving system than 4Motion AWD with automatic gyrboks.

With attractive features and performance offers presented, the VW Golf Black Edition is priced at 31,985 pounds, or around Rp. 613.5 million. Prices include On The Road and taxes.

The appearance of the VW Golf Black Edition after several days the manufacturer launched a special edition of the Golf GTI, namely GTI 380, which is an iconic hot hatch model that has manual transmission.

Meanwhile, GTI 380 Golf will only be available on the North American market, as a celebration of manual transmission legacy on the hot hatch VW in recent years from Golf GTI and Golf R.

VW provides the special edition of GTI Golf with a 2.0 liter turbocharged EA888 4-cylinder engine which is also used in other GTI 2024 Golf lines. This machine is capable of producing an impressive 241 dk and a maximum torque of 370 Nm. This huge contribution to impressive performance comes from the manual transmission of six accelerations.

VW has confirmed that this hot hatch will be available this fall this year, with prices ranging from US$32,485 or around Rp494.9 million to US$40,625 or equivalent to Rp618.9 million.
