Soetta Airport Is Predicted To Experience An Increase In Prospective Passengers

TANGERANG - Assistant Deputy Communication and Legal at Soekarno-Hatta Airport M Holik Muhardi predicts that the flow of passengers for the 2025 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays at Soekarno Hatta Airport (Soetta), Tangerang City will increase starting today, Friday, December 20, next.

"D-5, there will be an increase in the number of passengers at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport," said M. Holik Muardi, Thursday, December 19.

Holik estimates that the number of prospective passengers entering the Nataru holiday will reach 185 to 190 thousand. That number also consists of departures and arrivals.

"Prediction of 185-190 thousand passengers who will come and depart," he said.

Holik also revealed that the number of passenger movements at Soetta Airport in the new Christmas-year period was considered to have increased by 10 to 11 percent when compared to movements during the 2023 holiday period.

Based on current data, the movement of passengers is around 169,000, and even then when compared to the average number per day it has increased.

"Indeed, there has been an increase of 10-11 percent, as well as the influence of government programs that reduce ticket prices by around 10 percent," he explained.
