Hino Enlivens GIIAS 2023 By Presenting Two Latest Commercial Vehicles

JAKARTA - In addition to introducing the latest various passenger cars, the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) is also a stage for commercial vehicle brands to introduce their latest models.

One of the participants in the largest automotive event in Southeast Asia is Hino, who also showed off a number of variants of buses and commercial vehicles at their booths.

The two newest models from Hino are Hino 300 Microbus 115 SDBL 4x4 and Hino 500 - FM 280 JD R Mining Spec. Both vehicles have special capabilities that can help with commercial activities.

Santiko Wardoyo, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Director of PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI), stated that these two vehicles were presented to be transportation solutions with high-quality trucks and buses.

"The Hino truck and bus are designed to focus on safety, comfort, and efficiency to support the development of our customers' businesses," Wardoyo said in a statement, Tuesday, August 15.

The Hino 300 Microbus 115 SDBL 4x4 comes with a 4x4 configuration, giving him the extraordinary ability of traction to pass through various road conditions. This vehicle is equipped with shifting transfers, case transfers, front SHAft propellers, and differentials to deal with heavy terrain and offer strong resilience.

While Hino 500 - FM 280 JD R Mining Spec has a special ability to carry out mining activities. Equipped with a retarder, namely a special electromagnetic braking system that is able to stop vehicles when passing through difficult terrain, in order to improve safety during mining activities.

This vehicle has high performance, because it is designed for mining activities. Hino 500 of these mining specifications use a standard Euro 4 type J08E-WD engine capable of generating up to 276 dk of power.

To optimize power in the mining environment, this vehicle is equipped with several features, including the ES Start which prevents vehicles from receding while on the incline even though the brake pedal is removed. This vehicle has a Gross Vehicle Weight of up to 26 tons.

During GIIAS 2023, HINO also showcased four other vehicles, such as Hino 500 - FM 340 TH ABS Ultimate Safety, Hino 300 - 136 HD Fire Department and Sky Lift, as well as Hino Bus GB 150 AT with Trans Jakarta body.
