JAKARTA - Among the onslaught of romance-themed dramas, there is one drama that chooses the premise of friendship. Tencent's latest Chinese drama, There Will Be Ample Time will be available starting earlier this month.

The meaning of the simple time here is having more than enough time. This drama will tell the story of the four friends played by Ren Su Xi, Li Xue Qin, Shi Ce, and Wang Zi Quan.

There Will Be Ample Time tells the story of four best friends: Zhang Pei (Ren Su Xi), Gou Dan Dan (Shi Ce, Dong Jia Xi (Wang Zi Quan), and Wu Yun (Li Xue Qin) who grew up together. They achieve their respective careers.

Zhang Pei is an insurance agent, Gou Dan Dan is a beauty blogger, Dong Jia Xi works in theaters and Wu Yan becomes a government employee. They work in different cities but accidentally bring them together in their hometowns.

Zhang Pei was asked by his company to do a business in his hometown, Gou Dan Dan returned home to give birth to his first child. Meanwhile, Dong Jia Zi came home because she had to take care of her mother who was seriously ill.

Of the three friends, the remaining Wu Yan is looking forward to their return of the three of them. After they got together again, they started to organize their lives together.

The character poster released by Tencent today, Friday, November 3, shows the four characters in their different style of clothing.

Reportedly, this drama is a sequel to the Remembrance of Things Past starring Zhou Yu Tong and airing in 2021. Of all the players, only Ren Su Xi joined the sequel but used a new character.

Meanwhile, There Will Be Ample Time has 36 episodes that will air starting today, Friday, November 3 on Tencent Video.
