Support Palestine, Gigi Hadid Gets Death Threats

Gigi Hadid reportedly received death threats after voicing her support for Palestine. Not only Gigi, but Hadid's family also received similar threats through various networks, so they are said to have changed their phone number.

Launching TMZ, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid and their parents, Yolanda and Mohamed also received threats via messages on social media and emails. Until now, Hadid has not responded to this news publicly.

This threat was accepted after Gigi Hadid voiced support for Palestine through their social media. Previously, Gigi, who has Palestinian descent, shared an Instagram Story containing this support.

Last week, Gigi Hadid also condemned Israel's war with Hamas in which she expresses hurt for the Palestinian struggle.

"My thoughts are with those affected by this unjustified tragedy and every day, innocent lives become victims - most of whom are children," Gigi Hadid wrote.

"I have empathy and pain in the days for Palestinians who live under population. This is the responsibility I hold every day," he said.

Gigi Hadid's statement was responded to by the Israeli state account via Instagram Story. They wrote, "Have you been sleeping for the past week? Or are you okay turning a blind eye to the Jewish babies who were slaughtered in their homes? Silence you are very clear about where you stand. We see you."

"No one was brave enough to be massacred by Israelis by Hamas," they said again.

"Closing Hamas on their behalf (ISIS) is not an anti-Palestinian act and supporting Israel in their fight against barbaric terrorists is the right thing to do," he continued.

Gigi Hadid and her older brother, Bella Hadid, often voiced their opinions, including supporting the Palestinian movement considering that her father, Mohammed Hadid, has Palestinian descendants and is a Muslim.

Tensions between the Israeli military and Palestinian factions took place on Saturday morning, October 7 local time after the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched a surprise attack from the Gaza Strip on Israeli territory.
