Britney Spears Ever Aborted When Dating Justin Timberlake

JAKARTA - Britney Spears revealed several things that have happened in her life exclusively. Through her latest memoir, The Woman In Me, she said that she had an abortion when she was dating Justin Timberlake.

The two pop stars got into a relationship in 1999 and broke up in 2002. Although she didn't mention specifically, Britney said the abortion was done when they were dating.

"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I really love Justin. I always wish we could be a family one day," wrote Britney Spears quoting from PEOPLE.

"But this all happened earlier than what I was looking forward to," he said.

Britney also said that Justin Timberlake did not feel happy with the news of the pregnancy. The two who are currently pursuing a career together feel they are too young to start a family.

"But Justin is certainly not very happy about the news of his pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, we were too young," Britney said of Justin's response.

According to Britney Spears, if the decision was given to her, she would admit that she would not have an abortion. However, she saw Justin Timberlake as not ready and refused the idea to raise the child.

"If the decision was made on me personally, I wouldn't have done it (abortion). And Justin is very sure he doesn't want to be a father," he continued.

"Until today, it's one of the painful things I've ever felt in my life," said Britney Spears.

This news was revealed by Britney Spears for the first time through her memoir which will be released on October 24. Although this book has not yet been released, PEOPLE have shared a few quotes from the book with the public.

This memoir has been done by Britney since April 2022 where she will discuss the conservatory she faced for 13 years and her journey as a pop star to become a mother.
