Inspection Scheduled Today, Yadi Basic Food Asks For Postponement

JAKARTA - Comedian Yadi Sembako is scheduled to be questioned today at the South Tangerang Metro Police for alleged fraud and embezzlement cases. Yadi Sembako was reported together with Gus Anom by a victim named Muhammad Adri Permana on September 19.

However, in an interview via telephone, Yadi said that his examination would be postponed by his attorney. Even though he admitted that he had prepared all the evidence needed in this case.

"I have also been ready since last night, I have prepared all the evidence, that I am only ordered, directed, everything is ready, too, but from our attorney he wants to accompany himself not through his juniors," said Yadi Sembako via telephone to reporters, Thursday, October 5.

"Direschedule sama kuasa hukum, saya siap sudah siap karena dia mau mendampingi sendiri begitu," sambungnya.

The 50-year-old explained that the reason his attorney postponed the examination schedule was due to the busy schedule of his lawyer. He emphasized that this was not done because he wanted to run away from the accusations that were thrown at him.

"Not yet because it's just a reschedule. Because the one who accompanied me was really busy, I just called through juniors but later during the examination I wanted to accompany myself," he explained.

Until now, Yadi does not want to talk much about the case that dragged his name. He also explained that Gus Anum, who was also involved in this case, wanted to take responsibility.

"I don't want to reply to journalists, I really want to be silent first, I'm afraid I'm talking about what because all this time Gus Anum said he wanted to be responsible, I wanted to see what it was like," he said.
