JAKARTA - Jourdy Pranata and Anggika Bolsterli competed acting in the latest film produced by MVP Pictures entitled Dear Jo: Almost Is Never Enough. Both are shooting in two countries, Indonesia and Azerbaijan.

Not only borrowing Azerbaijan as a filming location, both Jourdy and Anggika were required to act using the language used by the Azerbaijani people.

"So we have an Azerbaijanan teacher. He is a native there. We are also reading there, and we were taught by them too," said Anggika Bolsterli when met at Epicentrum, South Jakarta on Wednesday, August 2.

During the two weeks of reading, actors had to learn Azerbaijani in four days intensively to memorize dialogue in the script. In addition to language, Jourdy Pranata said that the shooting process which lasted for two weeks in Azerbaijan was quite challenging. The reason is, filming is done in winter, so the temperature there is relatively low.

"We shoot there for two weeks, the weather there is winter and windy. So, some dialogues will be seen if we are chilled, the face is red and the blush is visible," said Jourdy Pranata.

Anggika Bolsterli also admitted that there were difficulties when filming in Azerbaijan. It was difficult for him to focus on memorizing dialogue and acting in cold weather.

"There are also difficulties, because we have to maintain our mood in the midst of cold weather, we have to focus on dialogue. That is a challenge for us," said Anggika.

However, Jourdy Pranata and Anggika Bolsterli admitted the beauty of the shooting location in Azerbaijan. Jourdy called the experience of acting there an unforgettable journey

"It's true, Mr. Monty said, it will be an extraordinary experience, it can't be forgotten. We wear triple jackets that don't work. It's just that the beauty there is extraordinary, like CGI," concluded Jourdy Pranata.
