Playing Horror Film, Refal Hady Becomes Possessive

JAKARTA - Refal Hady first tried to appear in the horror genre by playing in the film Perempuan Bergaun Merah. This film took her out of her comfort zone.

"Alhamdulillah, I finally got out of my comfort zone. Here, I'm usually a drama, maybe this is an experience that I think is extraordinary and will not be forgotten. And hopefully many will like it," said Refal when met in South Jakarta, Wednesday.

In this film, Refal plays the role of 'Men'. According to Refal, the character he plays is a man who is humble, and loves his lover very much.

JAKARTA - But in addition, Refal must describe the figure of a son as a girlfriend who is possessive towards his lover.

From the beginning, character development was quite a brainstorm. How to carry it, what to do with it. But Putra is a humble person, really loves his girlfriend and wants to investigate where his girlfriend went," explained Refal.

"It's just the excitement behind it, the emotional layer that I think can't be accessed before. Here, the territoriality that is carried continues to be a possessive guy but he doesn't know that he is like that," he added.

Furthermore, Refal also admitted that he was actually more comfortable to play in films with drama genres as he used to play.

However, as an actor, Refal feels that he must continue to learn and try new things. Therefore, Refal did not refuse if he had to play a role in horror films. However, Refal admitted that he needed to prepare physically and mentally first.

"I want to be sure (playing horror movies again). Of course I want to try everything. Only if you say where the comfort zone is, of course drama. But because I want to try to get out of my comfort zone, I want to play horror," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, October 27.

"You have to prepare it first, everyone (if you play horror again). From a physical, mental perspective, to be able to decide if I want to play horror again," he concluded.
