JAKARTA - Seo In Guk will play a shaman in the latest Korean drama titled Café Minamdang. This mystery comedy genre drama also involves Oh Yeon Seo as the co-star.
In the new trailer, Seo In Guk opens a business called Café Minamdang which is the title of this drama. But his past begins to return after a woman whispers, “You were convicted three years ago for falsifying evidence. Did you have any powers while imprisoned?”
Then Seo In Guk dresses up like a shaman and is supported by Kang Mi Na. On the other hand, Oh Yeon Seo said she would prove Seo In Guk was the wrong person.
Adapted from the novel, Café Minamdang tells the story of former profiler Nam Han Jun (Seo In Guk) who uses his deceiving ability to disguise himself as a shaman. He cheats customers for money but sometimes he helps his customers.
Nam Han Jun doesn't work alone. He is assisted by Soo Cheol (Kwak Si Yang) and his younger brother, Nam Hye Joon (Kang Mi Na).
One day, Nam Han Jun meets detective Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo), a patient and fair woman. Han Jae Hee is suspicious of Nam Han Jun's business which eventually brings the two of them closer together.
“It was exciting how Nam Han Jun's character pretended to be a shaman to solve cases. And I was attracted to this character because he has a lot of various emotions," Seo In Guk quoted Soompi as saying.
“I learned a lot from the character to become someone who can bewitch the audience. Cafe Minamdang will come with a cool story in the middle of summer, so please look forward to it," continued Seo In Guk.
