Cristiano Ronaldo Grieves, Football Club Cheer Him Up

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez grieve. They announced that one of their twins had died in Georgina's womb.

“It is with sadness that we announce the death of our baby boy. This is a pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of a baby girl gives us the strength to live in this moment," said Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez.

“We want to thank the doctors and nurses for their support. We are all saddened by this and we ask for privacy in this difficult situation. Our baby boy, you are our angel,” they concluded.

This statement is a source of sorrow for fans and the public. A number of football clubs also expressed their condolences via Twitter.

"Your pain is our pain, Cristiano," wrote the Manchester United club.

Ronaldo's teammates Marcus Rashford and David de Gea also wrote a tribute saying, “Our thoughts are with you and Georgina. We are sorry.”

"Everyone at Manchester City sends their condolences to you and Georgina," Man City wrote.

"All of us at Liverpool FC send our condolences to you, Georgina, and family," Liverpool FC wrote.

“Sad news. Condolences to you and your family," wrote Gary Lineker.

Georgina Rodriguez is known to be pregnant with twin boys and girls from Cristiano Ronaldo. It is reported that she will give birth in October. But today, Tuesday, April 19, their baby boy died while the baby girl was saved.
