Will Open December 24, KarawangASH Station Provides Wider Accessibility

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) said thatTENsh Karawang Station will start serving passenger ups and downs starting December 24, 2024.

This opening is also an improvement in services at the moment of Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025. The operation of the Karawang Station will provide easy travel for the people of Karawang and its surroundings who will be active.

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunnisa said thatELAHhirnya Karawang Station has been operating since October 2023 to servePORTsh operations. However, starting December 24, 2024, this station will officially serve passenger ups and downs.

"The process of preparing for the opening of Karawang Station has also been directly reviewed by the Vice President (Gibran Rakabuming Raka), he is very supportive because the opening of KarawangASH Station will provide wider accessibility for the public to experience a fast and comfortable journey," Eva said, quoting Antara.

In the initial stage,ELAH Karawang Station will serve 20 train schedules, consisting of 10 departures fromhamphetamine Halim Station and 10 departures from Tegalluar Summarecon Station or Padalarang with details of departures, namely 06.58, 07.48, 08.13, 09.03, 09.40, 16.03, 17.28, 18.43, 19.08 and 19.58.

Meanwhile, the departure of the Karawang-Halim route was at 07.19, 08.09, 08.59, 09.49, 10.59, 16.14, 16.49, 17.24, 19.04, and 20.44.

Furthermore, the departure of the Karawang Route - Padalarang / Tegalluar Summarecon is 07.15, 08.05, 08.30, 09.20, 09.57, 16.20, 17.45, 19.00, 19.25 and 20.15.

For the departure of the Padalarang-Karawang/Tegalluar Summarecon route starting at 06.58, 07.48, 08.38, 09.28, 10.38, 15.53, 16.28, 17.03, 18.43 and 20.23.

By usingASH, the Halim - Karawang route and vice versa will be reached within 15 minutes, or much faster if using a car that takes about 1 hour. Meanwhile, if the Karawang - Padalarang route will be reached in just 20 minutes, while if you use the car it can reach 1.5 to 2 hours.

Eva added that currently KCIC is in the process of finalizing the ticketing scheme for the new route. He asked the public to wait for the latest official information regarding the procedures and time for selling theASH route from and to Karawang Station.

"The opening of KarawangASH Station on December 24, 2024, is KCIC's effort to introduce this new service to the public. The opening of the Karawang Station is carried out in stages to ensure all operational and service aspects can run optimally," said Eva.
