Overcoming Vehicle Surge, Jasa Marga Implements Contraflow At KM 55-65 Cikampek Direction

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has imposed contraflow traffic engineering on the Jakarta Toll Road to overcome the increase in vehicle volume during the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 periods (Nataru 2024/2025).

This traffic engineering is carried out on discretion from the police.

From 09.40 WIB, the contraflow was opened 1 lane from KM 55 to KM 65 towards Cikampek to help smooth the heavy traffic flow.

The application of contraflow is expected to reduce congestion and facilitate the journey of road users.

PT JTT urges all toll road users to prepare for trips properly, such as ensuring that the vehicle is in prime condition, ensuring that the electronic money balance is sufficient and refuels before departing.

In addition, road users are also advised to bring provisions to avoid overcrowding in the rest area.

"Always be careful when driving, obey signs and follow directions from officers in the field," said VP Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT JTT Ria Marlinda Paallo in a written statement, Saturday, December 21.
